TranslateAble worked closely with RX to provide British Sign Language (BSL) interpreters for it’s two iconic events, MCM Birmingham Comic Con and MCM London Comic Con.
From the biggest names in pop culture and exclusive previews of the latest in TV, film, and anime to vibrant cosplay competitions and gaming, MCM Comic Con is celebrated for its diverse event programming. Thanks to RX’s collaboration with TranslateAble, many of these must-see moments are also accessible to deaf attendees and those with hearing loss.

Interpreters rotated between event stages, ensuring coverage for the most in-demand sessions. With the MCM Comic Con team providing event schedules in advance, TranslateAble was able to plan interpreter allocation and technical requirements effectively.
To make it easy for visitors, panels with BSL interpretation were clearly marked on the event app, shared on social media before the event and displayed on schedules in front of each stage.
The partnership with RX on the delivery of this project was so successful, it was given the seal of approval from Hugh Jones, RX CEO himself!
