We are thrilled to share that TranslateAble has been named a finalist for the Service Supplier of the Year award at the AEO Excellence Awards 2024 and we couldn't be more proud.
The AEO Excellence Awards are the UK exhibition industry's most respected annual celebration, bringing together the best organisers, suppliers and teams in the business. Held on 14 June 2024 at the iconic Grosvenor House in London with an Ibiza theme that made for a memorable evening, the awards recognise outstanding work delivered across the exhibition industry over the previous twelve months.
Being shortlisted for Service Supplier of the Year is a significant recognition for a business of our size. The category is judged on quality of service, reliability, client impact and the ability to go above and beyond. It’s all things we work hard to deliver for our clients every single day.
What we were recognised for
The shortlisting reflected a year of work we are genuinely proud of. In 2023, TranslateAble supported exhibition organisers across more than 33 international events, delivering language services in locations ranging from London and Milan to Nairobi.
Key highlights that formed part of our submission included:
Our partnership with RX to provide British Sign Language interpreters at Comic-Con and The London Book Fair — helping to make two of the UK's most beloved events genuinely accessible to deaf attendees and those with hearing loss for the first time.
Supporting Clarion Events at the Africa Energy Forum in Nairobi, where we sourced local interpreters providing English, French, Swahili and Kenyan Sign Language — navigating both budgetary constraints and the logistical challenges of a complex international location.
Helping Messe Frankfurt achieve a 35% uplift in international exhibitor enquiries after translating their sales and marketing materials into target market languages — a result their marketing team described as a real "movement in the needle" moment.
Translating an exhibitor manual from English to Finnish for operations agency Ways and Means, where our knowledge of exhibition industry terminology saved the client significant time and ensured the manual was genuinely fit for purpose.
Across all of this, we maintained a 97% customer satisfaction rate and saw over 60% of revenue come from repeat business — both figures we are incredibly proud of.
