Running from November through to the end of January, the project called on a team of over 40 language professionals working across multiple time zones to keep pace with a fast-moving schedule.
The scope of materials was as varied as the guest list itself, spanning terms and conditions, event invites and live menus that changed as new items were added, requiring the team to adapt translations in real time rather than working from a single static brief.
As expected with any event project of this type, short turnarounds were a constant throughout, with new documents and updates landing at short notice across the project's three-month run.
Beyond translation, TranslateAble's language professionals added genuine value by flagging cultural considerations the team may otherwise have missed, including identifying menu ingredients that wouldn't be considered halal, helping ensure every guest felt properly catered for and included no matter where they were joining from.
