TranslateAble was also commended for Sustainable Business of the Year and Team of the Year.
The winning entry highlighted TranslateAble’s commitment to people and community, innovation and growth, and resilience. This included paying language professionals fairly and on time, adapting its services to support event organisers with growing international audiences, and charitable work supporting homeless and socially disadvantaged people. Judges noted that a 97% client satisfaction score and 96% client retention rate are particularly impressive given the budget pressures facing the events industry, and that TranslateAble’s new multilingual stand staff service directly addresses a genuine, unmet need for exhibitors facing international audiences. Its model of offering a comprehensive range of language services as a single events-specialist partner, the judges said, makes it genuinely difficult to replace.
For event organisers under growing pressure to align their events with company ESG commitments, the commendations also reflect TranslateAble’s commitment to taking meaningful action in its business practices, supporting clients in creating more sustainable and inclusive events.
